We've been independent for quite some time. It's about 52 years already.
And yet, some races still think that Malaysia belongs to them.

Here some conversation that I rarely being question...over n over again...GOSH!!!

First day at UUM ground
Mr X: hi! welcome to college mas!
Me: hi! thank so much.
Mr X: oh, dari Indon eh?
Me: HA!!! tidak lah. dari Sabah.
Mr X: Oh Sabah. Kuching?
Me: *friendly smile fades.stares at him* NO. Kota Kinabalu.
Mr X: oh, bukan sama ka?
Me: NO, NOT THE SAME....

During every mid-sem break
Ms X: u going back for holidays?
Me: yup! going to KL want to celebrate Raya with my cousins
Ms X: u celebrate Raya?
Me: yes! of coz. i celebrate Xmas, Raya, CNY, Deepavali.
Ms X: really? why?
Me: coz i have a multi-ethnic environment back home. that's why.
Ms X: u mean u have Muslim family?
Me: of coz i do!!!

At College
Officer: dari Sabah ke?
Me: yup!
Off: kaum ape?
Me: Kadazan.
Off: oh, bumiputera Sabah ke lain-lain?
Me: Bumi+Sabah. *mono-sarcastic tone*

Campus UUM
Fren: Dym, dari Sabah kan?
Me: yup!
Fren: kaum ape majoriti? Iban?
Me: Iban Swak la syg oi. Kadazan majority di Sabah.
Fren: hahaha. i selalu keliru le dengan Sabah dan Sarawak.
Me: km x tau meh??? (tbelik biji mata)
Fren: blajar jg le. tapi tak ditekankan.
Me: really????????????????

UUM Hub Etnik Exam Question (taken during sem 2)
Antara yang berikut, kaum manakah yang menyambut Hari Gawai?
A. Iban
B. Bidayuh
C. Kelabit
D. Kadazan

Someone didn't do their homework thoroughly or maybe the question wasn't specific enough.

Hari Gawai is celebrated by Kaum Dayak Laut, which consists mainly of Iban and Bidayuh. and so the answer is A&B. I ticked both in my answer sheet. As my sign of protest towards the question. HAHAHA=)

Even though I'm Kadazan but I still know and understand others races quiet good enough...shame on all of the persons that still didn't even know that we belong in one nation with so many ethnics.

Forgiveness

Am just an ordinary girl who finds the simple things in life to give the most pleasure and happiness. But there is still some things that I cannot predict will comes to our life. So many obstacle comes through our life every seconds. Oh God, onto You I ask for Your forgiveness. For I am to sinful to ask for Your forgiveness. Every words and my prejudice to others people make me really sinful. I'm to far away from You my Lord. Please do forgive me. There is so many things that I cares in my life until I forget to speak with You even just for a while. I want to adore You my Lord. Forgive me for all my mistake, my selfishness, my jealousy, my words and all my bad attitudes. Oh Lord, Jesus Christ whom shall I beg for others than Your forgiveness. I miss to talk with You my Lord. I know You are so great and always forgive Your children. How wonderful...You are worthy in my praise my Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen

Funny...but proud be SABAHAN...

While doing my work, suddenly pop out some web about bahasa sabah...then (pa lg) my eyes spit at the web. I'm reading thru the web and find some words that really funny...it's totally make me to laugh and at the same time miss my home...so check below for some words that usually we hear from SABAHAN people and gerenti urang Sabah, if u say and understand these words....

1. tuuuna/ saaaana - points with the lips - (there-- at a distance)(the longer the 'tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuna / saaaaaaaaaaaaaana' the further the place is hahahaha)
2. limpas (to pass/walk by - saya mau limpas dulu? Euse me, can I passby?
3. palui (stupid, duh!)
4. tapuk (to hide)
5. bida (ugly)
6. bubut (as in proper malay- "kejar", to chase)
7. sakai (ignorant, uncivilized, "hoosier")
8. andang-andang (that's how it is)
9. inda/tia (short form of "tidak" - not, no)
10. wicin (another brand of msg as in "aji-no- moto" - a seasoning or food enhancer)
11. talampau (proper malay - "terlampau"- too much)
12. takajut (proper malay - "terkejut" - shocked, startled)
13. siorang (proper malay -"kami"/ "saya-orang" - us, we)
14. ngam-ngam (proper malay "kebetulan" - et, at that time)
15. mangkali (proper malay "barangkali" - maybe, perhaps)
16. kamarin (proper malay "kelmarin" - yesterday)
17. kanapa (proper malay "kenapa" - why)
18. gia (___expression - "is it?")
19. bah (___expression - "ok!")
20. ah? (question, "Apa?" What?)

How did you know you love him?

Have you ever thought back to the moment you first said "I love you" to boyfriend. I do all the time. But there is always that moment when you knew, this is the person I want to live with for the rest of my life, I really love this person, and you can’t picture a life without them. I remember telling my boyfriend I loved him for the first time months and months ago.
Look, in my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person is still going to think the sun shines out your ass. That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with. I so found that person, regardless of how ugly I look or if my bronzer makes me look like kin to an Oompa Loompa, he loves me and thinks I’m beautiful. He has always been there for me and to this day I get butterflies when he kisses me. I went to sleep, missing him but knowing that this is really love, and i don't think i have ever been anymore satisfied then that very moment.

Busy...Busy...Busy

Fuuh...I've been about 2 months didn't post anything in my blog. It's been a very busy time for me as a student. Doing my assignment, every inch of my day is full of my work...quiet stress enough to make me crazy...hehehe...but I still can control my stress. ORAIT!!! Jesus always be with me. By now I'll gonna off for a while from blogging and gonna focus on my study...(me like, it's a good motivation of me).
