But not Holly and Gerry. They were childhood sweethearts- no one could ever imagine Holly and Gerry without each other.
Until unthinkable happens. Gerry's death devastates Holly. But as her 30th birthday looms, gently guiding her into her new life without him, each signed 'PS I Love You'.
With some help from her friends and her noisy and loving family, Holly finds herself laughing, crying, singing, dancing - and being braver than ever before.
Life is for living, she realises- but it always helps it there's an angle watching over you.

Ten Tips to Manage Stress on the Go

Posted by Dymna John at 12:53 AM 0 comments
1. Take three deep breaths slowly. It really works to relax the body and mind.

2. Relax the tongue. Usually the tongue is held tightly against the teeth. Free it up in the mouth so it can just rest there without tension.

3. Take one minute vacations. In your mind visit places where you find peace and stillness. Picture yourself there soaking up the beauty and solitude.

4. Relax your facial muscles. When we are tense we frown and squint which adds to the tension. Tell your facial muscles to relax and they will. Try to maintain this relaxed face throughout the day.

5. Move slowly. When you find yourself rushing for no reason, SLOW DOWN.

6. Laugh more. Laughter cuts stress and promotes relaxation.

7. Listen to beautiful music. Mozart calms the restless spirit.

8. Watch and enjoy the sunset.

9. Visualize yourself as a balloon being inflated. As you breathe in, the balloon fills with your stress and tension. Then breathe out all the stress and tension leaving yourself limp and relaxed.

10. Enjoy the rhythm and beauty of nature for its lessons are patience and peace.

RELAX FOR EASY POWER.

REMEMBER THAT RECREATION ISN'T RELAXATION, IT'S DIVERSION.

LIVE BETTER.......LAUGH MORE

I did this...

With monotonous tests and exams, infinite term papers and challenging final semester projects as a student I will deal with throughout my college years, a college student's life can be relatively stressful. Why I wanna add more stress and money misery to the list? (arrgggh this is painful...)

The cost of an average college student’s education is expensive. The average student’s tuition at a four-year public university ends up being about RM 23,000. That is not including room and board, books and other expenditures.

But I don’t want to fret, because there are ways to budget mymoney, and to leave myself with some extra cash. (hahahaha :D)

Budgeting involves me to put a pen to paper or use my laptop to enter the details in order to figure out how much money still I have, and how much money I have spends. The best way to do this is using a chart of expenditures for two or three months.

Write down everything that a I pays for from college tuition, food, room and board, bills, textbooks, etc… Make a list of how much I spends on each category every month or how much everything costs me each month.

If the costs don’t exceed my income then I'm fine, but if it's do exceed the my income so I may start cutting back on the less important wants in my life. (Fuuuhh!!!)

emmmm...about to reach 2009 i'll think i'm a bit older but still think about how to become my own self. reaching for something it's really hard actually, but live must go on.
so for my plan this years i'll have list a lot right here:
> going to study harder...(kikiki i thought this is very tough)
> become a patient person
> not to busy body 2 other persons (emmm...i think i can do it, have too!!!)
> always remember God (important things)
> try to find peace in my heart, mind & soul (cheeee....)
> budget all my stuff (including makan, minum, clothes....arggg cos i'll have to save the money for my practical)
> i'm going to lost some of my weight...(about 2 kg...)
> have to become a little bit social from right now (maybe it's a little bit harder for me but i'll try)

Hope my plan can be done as i'll wish for it...not orang melayu say "hangat-hangat tahi ayam".
I'll have to change my point of view to every single things from right now. GBU
